City Rising - The First Third Space Indy Sponsor
City Rising Sponsors Third Space Indy currently for $100/mo through the end of April 2026.

When I first set out to make Third Space Indy, there was no intention of making money. There still is not, frankly. When Mark Latta reached out to me asking to be a sponsor, I was surprised. He, of course, had to remind me that I actually wrote out that interested parties should reach out to me. Funny how that works.
Prior to this interaction, I had lightly thought about what type of sponsor I would accept on the podcast. Even in the throes of unemployment, it was important to me that I wouldn’t take money from just anywhere — even taking a small gift from my brother felt incorrect as a tech startup based in Los Angeles. In my head, local sponsors with moral and goal alignment who understand what I am trying to do, at least at a high level. Beyond this, it is vital that (1) the sponsor is not disruptive during the podcast (which I personally hope to achieve) and (2) the sponsor does not conflict with the content I’m putting out. Having it any other way would be a disservice to the people of Indianapolis… in my eyes anyway. I would not, and still will not, accept sponsorships from just anybody. I think that conflicts with me as a person and the vision of what Third Space Indy is and can be.
And so when my second guest ever reached out with the intent of sponsoring the podcast, I pretty much already knew the answer would be yes.
Mark Latta is a man of character, is someone I largely agree with, and is someone who shares a long-term vision of the future and the short-term fervor towards the current human experience with me.
It’s important to me that I do a good job for and with him, not only because he has told me I provide value with the podcast, but because Mark is the exact type of person I am looking to share my conversations with as a listener, and that means the world to me. So Mark and City Rising are the ideal first sponsor of the pod, and I would not have it any other way. Give his business a look if you are an individual or an organization looking to make a real change in your community.
